Yes. AnyDesk is a legitimate, industry-standard remote support application used by millions of businesses worldwide. We only ask you to download it from the official AnyDesk website. Schwab will never ask you to download software from an unrecognised or unofficial source.
Absolutely. You are in complete control at all times. Simply close the AnyDesk application to immediately end the session. Your representative cannot reconnect without you accepting a new connection request.
Your representative can see what is currently displayed on your screen and, only if you grant permission, control your mouse and keyboard to assist you. They cannot access files, cameras, or any other part of your device independently.
Security reminders
We will never ask for your password
Schwab representatives will never ask for your account password, Social Security Number, PIN, or full credit card number during a remote support session.
Only share your 9-digit ID
The only information you need to share with your representative is the 9-digit address shown inside the AnyDesk app. Do not share any other codes or credentials.
End the session anytime
If you feel uncomfortable at any point, close AnyDesk immediately and hang up. Contact Schwab directly on the number on the back of your card to verify the call.
